By Road
From Windhoek via Rehoboth (220km):
Drive on the B1 in the direction of REHOBOTH, pass Rehoboth and 4 km after Rehoboth turn off to the right at the sign 'KLEIN AUB'.
Drive on the C 24 till the sign 'NAUCHAS/SOLITAIRE' then turn to the right on the D 1261.
After NAUCHAS turn off to the right on the D 1275 which takes you down SPREETSHOOGTE PASS.
Approximately 20 km from the pass on the left hand side you will find the sign of BARCHAN DUNE RETREAT.
From the entrance it is 3 km to your accommodation.
From Swakopmund (280km):
Drive on the B2 to WALVIS BAY. At the circle turn off on the C14. Stay on the C14 till the sign NAUCHAS on the left, turn off on the D 1275.
Drive on the D1275 till you reach the sign Barchan Dune Retreat on the right hand side.
From the entrance it is 3 km to the accommodation.
From Maltahöhe (200km):
Drive on the C14 in the direction of SOLITAIRE.
After Solitaire approximately 9 km turn off on the right-hand side on the D 1275 for 15 km to reach the sign of Barchan Dune Retreat.
From the entrance it is 3 km to the accommodation.
PLEASE BE SURE THAT THE GAS TANK OF YOUR CAR IS FILLED BEFORE LEAVING FROM WINDHOEK or WALVISBAY AS THE NEAREST GAS STATION IS AT SOLITAIRE.

Activities
Farm Drive/Sundowner
The farm has a rich fauna and flora. At the main Building we have a resident Meerkat (des suricate), which just loves to photographed by our guests.
Birdwatching
Our two days at your lodge was one of the most memorable moments of our trips. The chalets (despite the cold water for our friends), the setting/views and the personal touch you and Nikkie give to this place were really outstanding.
Hikes & Trails
Our self-catering unit are nestled right next to the Mountain, which ensures complete privacy if so required. It cannot be seen from the main Building nor from any of the roads.
Hike to Ubib Grotto
This remarkable archaeological site is called Ubib Grotto. Go on a guided 2.5-hour excursion to the cave and be mesmerised by this special place.
